Project Connectome of the human brain: mapping, plasticity and meta-networks
PRINCIPAL INVESTIGATOR

We are exploring the connectome of the human brain, in particular the neural bases underlying movement, language, cognitive and emotional functions, and non-verbal communication, as well as their capacity for reorganisation in gliomas. We are developing meta-network models of brain information processing, based on dynamic interactions between neural networks. We use multimodal approaches, particularly those used in awake surgery: behaviour, neurophysiology and neuroimaging, and their modulation before and after glioma resection. This enables us to establish an original link between neuro-oncology and cognitive neuroscience.

Global and dynamic onco-functional framework in low-grade gliomas, illustrating the interactions between the course of the tumor, reactional neuroplastic mechanisms of the connectome, and tailored therapeutic strategies.
