During its meeting on November 22, the Academy of Sciences awarded its “Grand Prix Lamonica de Neurologie” to Jean-Philippe Pin for his work on G protein-coupled receptors, in particular metabotropic glutamate receptors. In this field, the pioneering work of Jean-Philippe and his collaborators has made an essential contribution to our knowledge of their molecular structure and conformational dynamics, as well as their mechanisms of action, thus opening up promising perspectives for the development of new generations of therapeutic agents against neuropathies.
Congralutations!
