A publication involving an IGF team selected in the “Highlights 2024” booklet published by the French Society of Neuroendocrinology

The french Society of Neuroendocrinology has each just published its “Highlights 2024” booklet, illustrating outstanding work carried out in 2024 in french/francophone laboratories in the field of Neuroendocrinology. Among this selection, a publication by the team “Stress, hormones and plasticity” headed by Freddy Jeanneteau is in the spotlight. In the interview below, Prabahan Chakraborty, then a postdoctoral fellow in Freddy’s team, explains the results of the article.

The article focuses on the role of somatostatin in the management of social communication disorders associated with autism. It was published in 2024 in the journal Cell Reports Medicine.
