The French Society for Mass Spectrometry has awarded its 2023 Research Prize to Cherine Bechara. Cherine is lecturer at the University of Montpellier and junior member of the Institut Universitaire de France. She leads a research group in the team of Sebastien Granier/Bernard Mouillac, aiming at characterizing the structure and dynamics of G protein-coupled receptors as well as their interaction partners, with a particular interest in chemokine receptors. To achieve that goal, Cherine combines structural mass spectrometry tools with biophysical and biochemical approaches.
Cherine will receive her prize during the 39th French Days of Mass Spectrometry which will take place in Marseille next September.
Congratulations Cherine!
