During its meeting on November 23, the Academy of Sciences awarded its “Madeleine Lecoq” Prize to Camille Pujol.

Camille did her thesis at the IGF in the team “Neuroproteomics and signaling of brain disorders”. She is currently a 6th year medical student at the University of Strasbourg. Camille has been awarded for her thesis work, showing the involvement of the serotonin 5-HT6 receptor in neuronal differentiation via the recruitment of distinct cellular signaling pathways, through its association with different protein partners. Camille’s thesis has opened new avenues for the understanding and treatment of neurodevelopmental pathologies.
